Dr. Raji Sharma did her Post Graduation, MD Anaesthesiology, in 1998, from Mumbai University, which is recognized by the Medical Council of India. She was Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Pondicherry, India, before moving to the UAE.

She has 24 years of work experience, of which 11 years and 6 months have been in UAE. She was Specialist and Head of the Department of Anesthesiology at Thumbay Hospital Ajman, Affiliated to the Gulf Medical University from June 2011 to October 2020. The Anaesthesiology team headed by her has received the Best Team of the Quarter Award at Thumbay Hospital in 2017 and in 2018. She was the Chapter Champion for ASC chapter for JCI Accreditation at Thumbay Hospital.

She is presently working at Amina Hospital as Specialist Anaesthesiology from November 2020 till date. She has several Publications in Indexed Journals and has presented Papers in National and International Conferences.
